Rick Kuhn Elected to PCA Midwest Board of Directors

The Plumbing Contractors Association Midwest (PCA) is pleased to announce that its association membership has recently elected Rick Kuhn, owner/partner at R.J. Kuhn Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling, Inc. to serve as PCA Director for the 2016-2017 term. Kuhn had previously been appointed as PCA Director in September, 2015 to serve out the remainder of the year.

As one of the oldest trade associations in the United States, the PCA represents over 300 union plumbing contractor firms operating in 17 counties in Northern Illinois. PCA assists its members with education, safety training, plumbing code and license law enforcement. Our nationally recognized apprenticeship system provides effective training of union plumbing apprentices through a 5-year program leading to journeyman status. As a PCA Midwest Director, Kuhn, with his fellow PCA Officers and Directors, will provide oversight, leadership and guidance to the association’s membership.

“I am privileged and honored to serve as a PCA Midwest Direct and follow in the path of my father, Dick Kuhn, who proudly severed as a long-time Director of the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Alliance of Northern Illinois (PAMCANI), which merged with the PCA Midwest in 2015.” Kuhn added, “I take this role very seriously and will continue to advocate, educate and promote our highly qualified, licensed and bonded union signatory contractors in the Chicago and surrounding suburban markets.”
